In Loving Memory of Claire Crimmins
Montessori Teacher, Trainer, and Lifelong Advocate for Children
Trainer with WMI (EMC) (2014–2024)
It is with deep love and respect that we remember our dear colleague and friend, Claire, a cherished member of the Waterpark Montessori International (WMI) community since 2014.
With over three decades of Montessori experience and a heart deeply rooted in the philosophy of nurturing the whole child, Claire leaves behind a profound legacy of care, dedication, and inspiration.
She began her journey in Montessori education straight out of school, working first as an assistant and going on to gain qualifications for the 0–12 age group through St. Nicholas Montessori College in Ireland. In 1992, she opened her first Montessori school in Ireland—a school that continues to serve families to this day.
Her passion later took her to France, where she worked in schools serving children from 3 to 18 years of age. Whether in the classroom or through the association she co-founded to support children using Montessori methods, she brought an unwavering commitment to every role she took on.
Claire was not only a gifted educator, but also a truly unique colleague. She was direct, with a droll sense of humour that could cut through any tension, and a practical spirit that never flinched at a challenge. She didn’t waste time complaining—she simply rolled up her sleeves, got to work, and quietly made things better.
As a WMI tutor for the 3–6 and 6–9 age groups, she guided adult learners with the same clarity and conviction she brought to the children in her care. Many of us remember her as an inspiring, no-nonsense Montessorian whose warmth, wisdom, and loyalty shaped our early team. Her presence was strong, her voice calm, her contributions invaluable.
Though her passing leaves a great gap, her light continues in the children she nurtured, the teachers she trained, and the community she helped build. We are grateful for the time we had with her and will carry her spirit forward in our work—with sleeves rolled up and hearts full.
With love and respect,
The EMC (WM)I Team

Nicole Hermann, a wholehearted Montessori Trainer and Expert in Cosmic Education.
Montessori Education is her passion and has accompanied her for many years. And because she does not want to keep this joy to herself but want to share this knowledge with as many as possible, she works with Montessori enthusiasts throughout Europe.
After her education as an Early Childhood Educator in Germany and her studies (English and German as a foreign language, ongoing master’s degree in Democracy Development) in Norway at the UIB, she discovered the Montessori pedagogy for her. She fell in love with Montessori and then immediately began to further her education. With her Montessori training focus 3-6 and 6-9 and also her subsequent training as a Montessori coach 3-6 and 6-9, she has been finished since 2015. The Montessori educations at WMI International and Akademie Biberkor have shaped her and there is nothing more beautiful for Nicole than seeing satisfied children working independently and concentrated in a prepared environment. During her further education, she worked at the Montessori school in Bergen, where she took over a classroom management (1-4 class) and the pedagogical guidance of the employees of the entire school. In total, she has over 15 years of experience from the school and 7 years of working as a teacher.
